THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

As a Surveillance Operator you will be responsible for the efficient operations of the surveillance department which includes monitoring the money room and floor operations of the Sportsbook for any illegal activity.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Perform surveillance and activity checks for the sportsbook floor, money room and any other areas determined by management
  • Regularly inspect the premises and all betting transactions and surveying the money room and transfer of money to detect cheating, theft, illegal activities and procedure/policy violations
  • Utilize approved and necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal and unusual activities occurring on the sportsbook floor
  • Prepare detailed reports and video documentation of any unusual or suspicious activity and security-related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility to Management
  • Identify potential safety or security hazards
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the applicable state gaming and/or racing regulations and ensure that these regulations are adhered to
  • Clearly communicate and enforce company expectations including policies, procedures, and department objectives
  • Inform all necessary parties of surveillance activities and irregularities
  • Assist in the development of departmental procedures and policies

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, surveillance operations or gaming security strongly preferred
  • Previous surveillance experience in a casino or regulated environment highly desired
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license and satisfy all regulatory requirements
  • Self-starter: ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in sports or online gaming preferred
