THE POSITION:

FanDuel Group is looking for a Sr. Associate to join its Strategy and Partnerships Team, who will be responsible for evaluating M&A, investment and other strategic opportunities for FanDuel Group within the gaming, sports and media industries. The Sr. Associate will work cross-functionally with other teams at the company, assisting with the execution of opportunities that will drive key company objectives and business growth.

THE GAME PLAN:

The Sr. Associate will be responsible for

• Assisting with the evaluation of M&A, investment and other strategic opportunities, including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation and presentations
• Developing and owning the business case model for potential M&A, investment or partnership opportunities
• Conducting company and industry research on target areas to identify M&A opportunities and evaluate strategic fit for FanDuel
• Working directly with key executives and partnering with other internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Product) to evaluate opportunities
• Developing and presenting key findings to FanDuel management

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, buy-side or sell-side equity research or private equity (experience in the gaming, media or sports industries a plus)
• Exceptional financial modeling and corporate valuation skills
• Deep understanding of key finance / accounting principles
• Strong presentation skill set and demonstrated experience building presentations with recommendations for senior management
• Strategic and creative thinker with strong analytical skills who can dissect complex issues and make thoughtful recommendations and action plans
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Results orientated and performance driven
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required

The applicable salary range for this position $92,000 - $126,500 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
