THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Communications Intern to join a fast-paced Communications team supporting internal and external communications. We’re looking for someone who is extremely detail-oriented with excellent writing skills as they’ll be responsible for managing critical timelines, preparation for industry events, drafting awards submissions and internal content. This person should have a track record in moving projects forward with a proven ability to manage deliverables and hit deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity that provides a wide scope of work within internal and external communications at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on relevant news articles, industry trends and competitor activities
• Contribute to the development and distribution of company announcement memos and stories for the intranet and employee newsletter
• Provide support for company events, including preparation of press materials, coordinating logistics, and on-site assistance
• Collaborate with team members on various projects and provide support to achieve departmental goals

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

Required Qualifications:

• Must be graduating between August 2024 – May 2025
• Must have U.S. Work Authorization and does not require employer sponsorship
• Must be in commutable distance from or willing to relocate to designated office
• Must be willing to be in office 2+ times per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related degree
• Knowledge familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Strong grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail
