THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for a Kentucky based On-Air Talent that will appear on live television to host, report, analyze and discuss horse racing on a nationwide basis. You will be asked to explain handicapping and other related pari-mutuel information to a television audience, while taking direction from production team.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Live on-air appearances (shows) lasting 2-5 hours
  • Pre-show preparation with production staff and contributing to the content and flow of live broadcasts
  • Interview guests in-person or via digital medium.
  • Traveling to races, as needed
  • Announcers are to ad lib for hours at a time with direction being given to them via IFB
  • Must be able to work an 8-hour day
  • Participate in social and digital media campaigns and select posts across FanDuel platforms
  • Voice over features and packages
  • Must be able to work any days of the week (Mon-Sun)
  • Must arrive a minimum of 2 hours before shift start for on-air prep
  • Contribute to the planning for productions as part of the team
  • Attend production meetings as needed
  • Must maintain professional on-air appearance as required by standards set by FanDuel TV
  • Live and cannot alter such without prior approval from the company or VP of Production

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 2 years at a broadcast television network doing live on-air announcing in horseracing
  • Strong familiarity with horse racing industry, pari-mutuel wagering, statistics information and analysis
  • Familiarity with sports betting programs and its lingo, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Journalism or in lieu of experience

The applicable salary range for this position is $90,000- $140,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.

This role includes flexible time off (including unlimited paid time off for full-time employees) and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
