FanDuel is looking for a Vice President of Product Transformation to lead on and embed a professional culture of innovation within our teams and to diligence existing and emerging betting product battlegrounds to ensure that FanDuel is at the forefront of innovation in sports betting. This is a newly created role & team that will work closely with existing product, design, research, analytics, technology, trading & sports modeling teams. We’re looking for a visionary leader who can inspire cross functional teams to deliver prototypes / MVPs to drive step change improvements and distinctive experiences in customer choice, flexibility, ease of use & loyalty. People Management & Leadership

  • Establish and oversee a high-performing FanDuel Product Transformation team; managing a small team (10) of specialists in product strategy, management, analytics & experimentation
  • Clearly defined roles, objective performance management, talent development and engagement
  • Provide a clearly articulated vision for product transformation at FanDuel and develop strategies that are well aligned to long term business goals
  • Collaborate with department leaders to embed a professional culture of fearless innovation, learning and experimentation within our sportsbook product & pricing teams (300 people) and our technology partners
  • Set a standard and culture of excellence in product analytics and experimentation without peer in the global sports betting industry
  • Executive and key stakeholder education and management; ensuring crystal clear understanding of, and alignment on, strategies and philosophies. Drive beneficial and pragmatic collaborations to realize our biggest opportunities

Thought Leadership

  • Along with your team:
    • Lead people and cross functional teams to deeply research and explore opportunities in complex and emerging technologies and how they might be best employed by FanDuel to deliver customer & commercial outcomes
    • Structure and lead cross-functional teams to deliver prototypes / MVPs on complex & emerging opportunities and technologies such as loyalty, social betting, AI and creatively improving choice, flexibility and ease of use
  • Thought leadership in identifying entirely new opportunities and avenues for delivering customer and commercial outcomes
  • Simplify complex concepts. Articulate your thoughts clearly and with impact to influence, align and inspire
  • Develop and embed deep knowledge of and relationships with the supplier/partner landscape to facilitate knowledge share and inform potential strategic partnerships or business development opportunities
  • >20% of 2026 revenue from new features or products where strategy originated in product transformation team​

Product Strategy

  • Thought leadership in optimizing team structures and ways of working to encourage a culture of collaboration, ideation & innovation
  • Manage Director Product Strategy & Innovation. Through them ensure that we:
    • Diligence product battlegrounds and shape existing strategies in partnership with VP Sportsbook Product & their LT to optimize resource allocation for the ~550 employees working on sportsbook product & technology
    • Collaborate with Sportsbook Product & Technology teams and other key partners to operationalize development and delivery of big bet innovations
    • Clearly defined posture on notable areas/initiatives we're consciously not pursuing​
    • Establish, monitor & report on KPIs
  • Lead, support or represent the Sportsbook Product & Pricing team on general biz dev / strategy / executive initiatives​

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management or related experience/discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience leading and managing a team
  • Strong people leader focus with demonstrable experience in driving cultural change
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering transformational product innovation in your industry
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer
  • Excellent organizer and collaborator
  • Commercially savvy with a strategic mindset
  • Ability to take broad direction, use initiative, and translate to well-researched, actionable output
  • Knowledge of sports betting domain preferred but not essential

The applicable salary range for this position is $220,000 - $285,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
