THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for a Vice President to join the Sportsbook leadership team to drive new growth opportunities and innovation in our sportsbook business model. Working with the General Manager of the FanDuel Sportsbook, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team with significant exposure. This role will have specific focus on identifying and delivering transformational projects that enrich our strategy and deliver real impact.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead the creation & deployment of new Sportsbook growth strategies that raise the bar for customer and business outcomes across the Sportsbook portfolio.
  • Oversee the refinement and elevation of our new state launch strategy to ensure we maximize the expanding footprint of legalized sports betting to grow our leadership position.
  • Identify new growth opportunities within our existing Sportsbook business and work with adjacent teams to ensure we capture incremental opportunities.
  • Bring fresh thinking and ideas from adjacent categories to unlock latent growth within the Sportsbook category. This includes but is not limited to initiatives around loyalty, personalization, merchandizing, and more.
  • Lead a transformation / innovation-focused team that sources, develops and delivers complex cross functional innovation projects from ideation to execution
  • Foster a strong culture of innovation and transformation among a high-performing team
  • Develop a deep understanding of FanDuel’s business and competitive positioning, as well as the sports wagering landscape, to better inform our strategy
  • Liaise with global Flutter partners in UK&I, Australia, and beyond to identify opportunities to leverage best practices and drive operational efficiencies across the global Group
  • Serve on the leadership team of the Sportsbook General Manager’s organization and act as a trusted advisor

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a business leader in management / strategy consulting, product, commercial or growth roles. Operating experience is strongly preferred.
  • Energizing and emphatic leader that is passionate and effective at building and developing high performing teams.
  • Expansive & Strategic thinker with a strong track record of innovation & delivering growth
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer with strong executive presence
  • Significant experience in cross-functional collaboration within large organizations / on complex projects is strongly preferred Strong customer empathy and consumer product sensibilities
  • Prior knowledge and interest of sports and technology industries are preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success
  • Experience managing a P&L highly desirable but not required; however, must understand the different components of a P&L Demonstrable history of operating in organizations with rapidly evolving scope and complexity

The applicable salary range for this position is $216,000 - $270,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
