THE POSITION

The Fraud & Risk Senior Analyst plays a key role in monitoring and developing best in class fraud prevention policies across the FanDuel Group brands. Fraud and Risk Senior Analysts assist in overseeing the day-to-day fraud prevention operation to ensure industry leading performance and compliance by handling complex escalations and identifying fraud trends autonomously. The Fraud & Risk Senior Analyst is also responsible for training and coaching junior level analysts within our team as well as being a key player on the larger fraud operations team.

This role requires advanced understanding of existing and emerging fraud risks within Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries. You must pass required licensing as mandated by various state gaming and racing regulatory bodies. Failure to be licensed or retain licensure will result in termination of employment. This position reports to the Fraud Prevention Supervisor.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Conduct daily reviews of risk reporting to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent or suspicious activity
  • Perform detailed account due diligence and settlement of customer accounts
  • Training and guiding analysts within the team
  • Aid in producing insights into current fraud trends
  • Screen customer withdrawals
  • Monitor reporting performance and accuracy
  • Assist with applicable state-specific regulatory Fraud form reporting
  • Support internal teams with various Fraud and Risk reviews or requests
  • Resolve customer issues in relation to Fraud and Risk matters when necessary
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned by the leadership team

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 4 - 6 years of fraud experience in daily fantasy sports, online gaming or related industries
  • Proven experience with digital payments and understanding of e-Commerce platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of common fraud prevention strategies and systems
  • Advanced understanding of Check, ACH, Wire, Debit/Credit card, PayPal and other payment channel operating rules
  • Effective communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Available to work flexible hours that include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for sports and/or gaming industry a plus
