THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for an Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will focus primarily on our high value customers – deriving insights about customer behavior and discovering the best strategies for VIP leadership to engage them. You will also derive insights for commercial, marketing, and group-wide teams to drive actionable insights about the business. You will work alongside a group of other analysts through various individual and team assignments to continually evolve the various tools, models, and data visualizations used to drive the FanDuel Casino business.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work with other analysts to produce specific insights around customer behavior, trends, and drivers of business performance for the FanDuel Casino VIP Program
  • Based on insights derived from customer segmentation and value models, collaborate with VIP leadership to develop strategies to enhance user experience and drive value
  • Create, modify and evolve models and data visualizations to better understand and explain the performance of various casino commercial KPIs
  • Create and maintain automated reporting processes visible to various casino and groupwide teams
  • Present analyses to casino stakeholders, focusing on driving actionable insights
  • Field and fulfill various ad-hoc requests from different casino teams
  • Opportunity to mentor junior analysts on day to day requests as well as team best practices

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 1-4+ years' experience in an analytics role preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
  • Strong personal organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insights
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to present work to non-analytical stakeholders as well as other analysts
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel required; experience with Python or R desirable
  • Experience with Tableau desirable
  • Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects
  • Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
  • Interest in Casino gaming, with knowledge of different game types and strategies preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $74,000 - $92,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
