THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a seasoned Finance Senior Manager to join our team in New York. The candidate will possess a combination of technical, problem solving and communication skills who thrives in a rapidly changing environment. The candidate will work on financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for our growing commercial finance team. The position will report into the Finance Director.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Serve as the finance lead overseeing design, implementation, and ongoing support of the complex contract process across the Sports organization.
- Evaluate, interpret, and summarize Sports agreements with stakeholders to determine appropriate performance indicators, financial impacts, and reporting requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of market-access partnerships and Sports agreements and serve as a subject-matter expert across the FP&A and Accounting teams ensuring the execution of all contract nuances.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Sports Business Unit serving as a touchpoint between stakeholders and the broader finance organization.
- Accountable for ensuring contract and relevant finance terms are captured as part of budgeting and forecast processes.
- Drive improvements in operational efficiency by proactively streamlining processes and enhancing reporting and insights.
- Address ad hoc financial analysis and regulatory data requests.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 7+ years of experience (preferably a mix of Financial Analysis/Corporate Finance and Accounting)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law or related field
- Audit or assurance experience a plus, but not required
- Exceptional organizational, communication and relationship building skills
- Exceptional financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to distill financial data into clear and concise insights
- Ability to manage your own workload and priorities as well as proactively identifying opportunities and enhance existing processes
- Ability to maintain a level of professional skepticism as well as attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and see the big picture while maintaining laser-focused attention
- High level of confidence, energy and the desire to work in a super-charged industry
- Exceptional Excel skills, comfortable dealing with large data volume
- Experience in sports, gambling, or entertainment a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $142,000 - $170,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
