We are currently looking for a Media Associate to help support our newly created Programmatic In-house team, within US Casino Business unit. The role will assist in campaign strategy, execution, optimization and reporting across Programmatic channels (OLV, Audio, Display and Mobile) and select Direct Partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Programmatic landscape (DSP’s, SSP’s, 3rd party measurement platforms, digital media channels), a knowledge of performance KPI’s (CPM, CPA, ROAS), and strong budget management skills. You’ll work closely with other media channels (Social, Search, Traditional), internal Brand/Creative teams, Analytics, Media Ops, and external partners to ensure campaigns are set up for success and deliver against performance KPI’s.
This position is ideal for someone who is curious, collaborative, analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about digital advertising technology.

Campaign Management & Execution
- Assist in the setup, trafficking, and monitoring of programmatic campaigns across multiple DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather creative assets, troubleshoot campaign issues, and ensure timely and accurate campaign launches.
- Support campaign and creative QA processes, helping to build best practices for reporting and budget pacing.
- Work directly with platform representatives on tactical strategy, innovation opportunities, and creative best practices.
Optimization & Strategy
- Provide continuous assessment of digital media tactics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and refine creative strategies and briefs designed to drive engagement and action across the full funnel.
- Optimize budget allocation across platforms and tactics to ensure the most efficient performance possible.
- Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve overall campaign performance and inform future planning.
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Oversee campaign and platform budgets, including weekly and monthly pacing, forecasts, and reconciliations.
- Partner with internal finance and analytics teams to ensure accurate spend reporting and budget accountability across platforms.
Partnership & Collaboration
- Own and nurture relationships with external partners, evaluating new media opportunities and optimizing existing channels to achieve FanDuel’s business and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the creative, analytics, and marketing teams to align media execution with broader marketing goals.
- Work seamlessly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining open communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in media buying within a DSP preferred; familiarity with DV360, Amazon DSP, or The Trade Desk is a plus.
- Experience managing paid video, mobile, display and audio campaigns end-to-end, including setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Experience with brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify) and tag management platforms (Flashtalking) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics within digital media, with the ability to report insights (KPI performance, creative analysis, pacing, etc.).
- Possesses an analytical and proactive mindset — able to aggregate information from disparate data sources into clear, actionable insights.
- Willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of auction models and bidding strategies across major DSPs.
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- A clear communicator and multitasker, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with a strong sense of accountability.
- Experience with ad serving or trafficking tools (Campaign Manager 360, DoubleVerify, IAS, MOAT).
- Familiarity with measurement and attribution platforms (Nielsen DAR, AppsFlyer, Kochava).
- Awareness of privacy-first media trends, identity solutions, and emerging programmatic channels (CTV, digital out-of-home).

The applicable hourly range for this position is $35.10 - $43.75 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
