FanDuel is seeking a People Analytics Senior Specialist to strengthen our HR data foundation and optimize the systems that power our People Team. In this role, you’ll drive data governance and integrity efforts, enable analytics through dashboard creation, reporting validation, and cross-system insights, and coordinate employee and employee lifecycle data across HR technologies. Data Quality & Governance

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive HR data governance framework that ensures data integrity, consistency, and compliance across all systems, enabling trusted insights and informed business decisions
  • Define and maintain standardized HR data models, taxonomies, and reference data, ensuring alignment of data standards across HR technologies
  • Provide guidance on data standards and best practices to inform the configuration and integration of new HR technologies
  • Maintain a centralized HR Data Dictionary and ensure it is regularly updated and communicated to stakeholders as system changes, process updates, or new data elements are introduced
  • Run recurring audits and facilitate cleanup efforts on HR systems to catch anomalies early, validate cross-system reports (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, Greenhouse), and ensure overall data integrity
  • Support data migration efforts across HR platforms, including data extraction, validation, cleansing, and migration activities to ensure accurate and complete transfer of employee data during system changes or implementations

Analytics Enablement

  • Build operational Tableau dashboards to visualize HR metrics and streamline recurring reporting needs
  • Stress-test advanced/custom dashboards to validate calculations, data accuracy, and user experience
  • Research external benchmarks to contextualize internal KPIs

Reporting & Data Requests

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR data inquiries and ad hoc reporting requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Validate, compile, and deliver accurate data and insights in alignment with established governance standards and data definitions
  • Support compliance-related reporting requirements, including regulatory, audit, and government submissions
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, request logs, and methodologies to ensure transparency, traceability, and audit readiness
  • Identify trends in recurring data requests to recommend automation opportunities or enhancements to self-service reporting tools

Process & SharePoint Support

  • Manage People Analytics request intake by triaging and logging asks, spotting recurring themes, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and prioritization
  • Maintain People Analytics SharePoint content (guides, FAQs, use cases)

Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner with the Director of People Analytics on advanced analytics projects
  • Grow skills in data visualization, predictive analytics, HR data storytelling, and the application of generative AI to People Analytics

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or Data/Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience in People Analytics or a related data/analytics field
  • Proficiency with HR systems (Dayforce, Workday, Greenhouse)
  • Strong Excel/SQL skills
  • Familiarity with Tableau preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for data quality
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $125,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
