FanDuel is seeking a Consumer Insights Senior Manager to lead consumer insights strategy and execution for the Prediction Markets business unit. This role will drive a high-impact research agenda, manage a team of 1 direct report, and serve as the strategic insights partner for Prediction Markets leadership. The Senior Manager will collaborate across marketing, commercial, product, and brand teams to identify and operationalize projects that generate actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

Reporting to the Consumer Insights Director, this role provides dedicated senior leadership for the Prediction Markets BU during a period of organizational growth and ensures consumer insights are at the forefront of strategic decision-making.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

  • Working with the Consumer Insights Director, this position will lead strategic research initiatives, manage team development, and ensure Prediction Markets business unit has dedicated insights leadership.
  • Lead development of comprehensive research learning agenda to address key Prediction Markets strategic business priorities
  • Drive evolution and enhancement of brand and customer tracking initiatives specific to Prediction Markets business unit
  • Provide strategic insights partnership to Prediction Markets leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage Prediction Markets research budget allocation and vendor relationships
  • Manage direct reports, providing mentorship, performance management, and career growth opportunities
  • Lead team in executing complex qualitative and quantitative custom research projects from conceptualization to analysis and reporting
  • Oversee scoping of ad hoc research projects, methodology selection, sample specifications, survey development, and quality assurance
  • Synthesize data from custom research, syndicated sources, and internal analytics to generate actionable business recommendations and translate learnings into visually compelling presentations
  • Champion best practices for leveraging customer databases and lead efforts to maintain tools for extracting, visualizing, and reporting data
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with cross-functional teams and present insights to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making
  • Foster collaboration and information-sharing across the insights organization while driving team performance initiatives
  • Lead efforts to improve and discover innovative research methodologies and manage key vendor relationships
  • Ensure consumer insights are embedded in strategic conversations and drive the principle of putting the customer first

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 6+ years of market research and/or consumer insights experience with proven client-side leadership
  • 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and mentor teams
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex custom research projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Experience leading strategic insights initiatives that drive business outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to integrate information from multiple sources into compelling strategic narratives
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
  • Experience in research tools and developing action standards/protocols
  • Collaborative leader with ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and manage multiple strategic priorities
  • Intellectually curious with demonstrated enthusiasm in sports, gaming, or technology categories
  • Experience with Qualtrics, SPSS, or other research platforms required
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong data visualization capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $127,000 - $159,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
