FanDuel is looking for a Product Analytics Manager to join our growing Flywheel & New Ventures (FNV) team. This role will be responsible for leading product analytics and experimentation initiatives in line with FNV’s goals of deepening engagement with existing customers and opening up new customer acquisition opportunities. You will lead a team that supports the FNV suite of products including Predicts, Picks, Daily Fantasy, Racing, FanDuel TV, as well as new ventures that we launch. This role is critical in helping product and commercial leadership make data-driven decisions, optimize product performance, and guide long-term product strategy.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Work as a strategic partner to the product and commercial teams to identify areas where KPIs, product metrics, insights, and experimentation can shape the roadmap or drive objectives
- Execute the FNV product analytics and experimentation strategy to support product development and decision-making
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of product analysts
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for all thing Experimentation and Product Analytics, establishing best practices for the team
- Present data insights and experimentation outcomes to key stakeholders, focused on delivering actionable insights
- Be an authority for customer behavioral data; using data to shape our understanding of customer behavior, business performance and roadmap planning.
- Lead the team as they evolve into data evangelists, skilled storytellers and trusted partners.
- Proactively identify areas where product data, experimentation, and behavioral analysis will drive desired business outcomes.
- Own and deliver end-to-end product experimentation processes and roadmaps
- Consistently deliver accurate, timely and high-quality analysis and insights to stakeholders in a way that is easily digestible by non-technical teams
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, experimentation or data science role
- Minimum 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Experienced team leader, with the ability to develop, mentor and advance team members
- Strategic mindset and structured approach to problem solving, driving experimentation velocity, developing measurement strategy and leveraging product insights to drive business advantage
- An excellent understanding of product metrics and the latest techniques in measuring the customer experience and app performance combined with the ability to use those skills to influence the product development lifecycle.
- Proven track record in the implementation of analytics and measurement solutions in a digital ecosystem, expert level knowledge of product analytics tools
- Strong experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills. Able to influence decision makers at all levels with data-driven insights, demonstrated experience leading
- Strong experience in SQL, with experience writing complex queries.
- Deep understanding of statistical methods (e.g., t-tests, chi-square, regression analysis)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field.

The applicable salary range for this position is $121,000- $151,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
