FanDuel is seeking a Product Manager to support the planning and execution of successful product initiatives within the New Ventures team. This includes implementing innovative, customer-first solutions that drive engagement and business growth for FanDuel Predicts, our new prediction markets product. The Product Manager ensures successful product performance through market analysis, a deep understanding of customer needs, and objective data analysis and reporting.

In this role, you will own key product initiatives within emerging product areas, working closely with cross-functional teams to build and scale FanDuel's presence in new markets and opportunities.

As an integral team member, you will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Data Science teams to implement and refine product features aligned with our broader vision. Specifically, you will focus on enabling personalization and data-driven user experiences, ensuring fans discover markets tailored to their interests and have access to the insights needed for confident participation.

You will contribute significantly to cross-functional flywheel initiatives, using data-driven insights to enhance New Ventures' product offerings and drive business value. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver innovative solutions that expand FanDuel's footprint across digital and retail platforms.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Product Strategy Implementation: Partner with the Lead PM to support execution of product strategy and objectives. Translate defined product direction into well-scoped requirements and delivery plans, using customer insights, competitive context, and business needs to inform prioritization. Contribute to defining and articulating product features by identifying user problems and improvement opportunities within an established domain.
  • Metrics and Performance Tracking: Track and report on key performance metrics for assigned features or initiatives. Share progress updates, surface risks or underperformance, and support data-informed recommendations for iteration and improvement. Assist in defining short- to medium-term success metrics and contribute to experimentation efforts such as A/B testing with guidance.
  • Product and Market Knowledge: Develop and maintain a solid understanding of owned product areas, user journeys, and relevant industry trends. Monitor competitor activity and market signals to inform incremental product improvements and roadmap discussions.
  • User Research and Insights: Collaborate with research and design partners to gather user feedback, participate in usability testing, and help translate insights into actionable product enhancements that improve the customer experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics tools to monitor feature performance and user behavior. Support the setup and analysis of A/B tests and apply data insights to recommend refinements and optimizations under guidance.
  • Feature Development and Execution: Create detailed product requirements documents and user stories. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful feature delivery, managing scope and technical feasibility throughout the development process. Partner with product owner and engineering manager to drive activities of multiple teams, ensuring effective prioritization, refinement, and delivery.
  • Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Partner with QA and engineering to ensure features meet quality standards prior to release. Assist in prioritizing bugs and addressing issues, helping maintain product reliability and performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, analytics, and other partners to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery expectations. Communicate clearly and proactively within the team to support smooth execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication Provide regular, clear updates to product stakeholders on progress, timelines, and risks for owned initiatives. Contribute to status reporting and documentation to support transparency and alignment.
  • Team Contribution: Actively contribute as a team member by sharing learnings, supporting peers, and participating in team rituals. Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities while continuing to develop product management skills and domain expertise.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a product manager or similar role required
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables
  • Demonstrated success cross-functionally influencing teams without formal authority
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for building products that make complex systems simple and engaging for users
  • Background in finance, investing, or market-based products (e.g., prediction markets, trading apps, or sports markets) and experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $117,500 USD which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
