Scopely is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our IT team in Culver City on an on-site basis.

What You Will Do

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for addressing on-site service requests for Scopely’s Culver City hub, as well as remote technical support and troubleshooting. This role reports to the IT Manager.

  • Provide on-site IT support for Scopely employees who are working out of the Culver City hub
  • Provide remote technical support for Scopely employees worldwide (primarily in North America)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment within the Culver City hub (TVs, cameras, speakers, microphone, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ,including but not limited to: workstations, docks, network connectivity, line of business applications, password resets, software application license and access requests, and account provisioning in Google/Okta/JumpCloud
  • Develop and document IT processes for troubleshooting, deployment, and security.
  • Assists with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of laptop and desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines
  • Assist with on-site related events which will involve, but not limited to: setting up content on televisions or digital signage, moving equipment from one location to another, providing equipment to end users, etc.
  • Provide full support for onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring adherence to established processes and a seamless experience.
  • Responsible for documenting solutions to problems and developing end-user guidelines
  • Oversight and upkeep of IT asset management tools (Oomnitza)
  • Assisting with IT Department projects that include computer forensic backups, IT hardware e-waste initiatives, hardware refresh initiatives, and more
  • Serve as a backup for the Executive IT Support Specialist, providing flexible “white glove service” to Scopely’s executive team as needed
  • Identify trends in IT issues and proactively address root causes
  • Ensure adherence to global and local IT processes and best practices
  • Work with IT leadership on infrastructure improvements and potential process automation.
  • Escalates exceptions and procedural issues to the IT Manager
  • Other duties may be added as defined

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of IT Support experience
  • Experience in the following technologies: Mac OSX, Windows, Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Advanced understanding of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical employees
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms
  • Effective time management and prioritization of workload
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to user support
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
