Scopely is looking for a Senior Manager, Workplace Experience to join our Workplace and Real Estate Team based in the Culver City hub, working from there 5 days a week.

This role will report to the Head of Real Estate & Facilities to continually evolve Scopely’s global employee experience in the Culver City hub. To thrive in this role, you will need to be a forward-thinking operationally-minded leader, who’s a strong communicator and self-motivated individual with an ability to influence and manage stakeholders. You will need to be confident in giving advice covering a broad range of topics, with the ability to manage multiple varied tasks against tight deadlines. This role requires clear strategic thinking, a responsible mindset and orientation toward operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Hands-on involvement in resolving urgent facilities-related issues as they arise.
  • Assist in the execution of workplace-related projects in Culver City and North America that support the overall strategic goals of the business
  • Drive the continuous improvement for key workplace processes to ensure the Workplace team has a prompt response to all facilities requests, issues, and complaints, overseeing the optimisation of ticketing systems for issue resolution and implementing ongoing programs to address emerging issues.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers
  • Assist in the design and execution of key Workplace policies and programs
  • Implement physical security standards, policies, procedures, and conduct training to protect Scopely’s people, assets, and reputation, adhering to all required codes and regulations, including emergency response, fire safety, and workplace safety standards.
  • Identify, manage and monitor Workplace & Facilities CAPEX and OPEX expenditures. This includes forecasting costs, and tracking expenses against the site-specific operating budget, developing recommendations and implementation plans to drive cost efficiency and quality in workspace management.
  • In partnership with our Employee Health & Safety team, ensure compliance with all local, country, regional, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Manage and resolve any tenancy relationship issues should they arise
  • Lead the Culver City Workplace and Facilities team to see the daily operations of our hybrid work model, including building space allocation, usage analytics, forecasting, layout, and decor to optimize the workspace, ensuring a productive and inspiring environment for our teams. Foster a responsive, service-oriented environment that enhances the well-being and productivity of all employees.
  • Be an inspirational leader who leads by example and ensures growth, development and morale are maintained within the team; coach and develop the Workplace & Facilities team, ensuring they carry out their roles professionally with deep accountability
  • Ensure our Scopely tenets are embedded into the team’s work processes and are being modeled by all members of the Workplace & Facilities
  • Travel to hubs within North America may be required as part of this role

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-7+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably facilities, building operations, and real estate project management with an emphasis on high tech startup facilities management.
  • Proven success with project execution, budget and cost savings, and other implementations.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and partner with department heads, managers, and staff across the organization.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work confidentially and instill confidence in those you are working with.
  • Ability to present information clearly and logically to a variety of audience and stakeholders
  • Flexible, self-motivated; able to deal calmly and professionally with ambiguous data while leading in an environment of constant change.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across various cultures and business practices.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in workplace and facilities management.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to work outside standard hours as needed to support office operations.
  • A proven track record of experience of complex problem solving with strong business outcomes
  • Proven experience in initiating and maintaining good working relationships with all internal stakeholders and external suppliers and providers
  • Experience in the planning and execution of TI projects: Construction Management, budget tracking, vendor RFPs/management of multiple offices; relocating employees preferred
  • Experience leading and executing Experience & Engagement events

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
