Scopely is looking for a QA Manager to join our Monopoly Go! team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Sr. QA Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing short-term organizational objectives within the test framework for our flagship title, Monopoly Go! You’ll support the quality initiatives of multiple cross-functional teams focused on developing, integrating, and releasing exciting new content and features.

Leading a team of both internal and external QA professionals, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, guiding how we iterate toward success and evolve our ways of working:

  • Drive the execution and continuous improvement of the QA test framework, aligning with project needs and team goals
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve test efficiency, coverage, and defect detection
  • Lead and develop a team of QA professionals, supporting growth through coaching, performance management, and clear development plans
  • Support release processes by enforcing quality standards, identifying risks, and ensuring readiness at key milestones
  • Champion a strong culture of quality, promoting shared ownership across cross-functional teams
  • Design and implement effective testing strategies across features, systems, and client-server interactions
  • Oversee QA processes and tooling (e.g. JIRA, TestRail), ensuring consistent and effective usage across your teams
  • Coordinate with external QA vendors, managing performance, expectations, and delivery quality
  • Maintain clear visibility of quality across your teams through reporting, risk tracking, and metrics
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and Live Ops to address issues, improve workflows, and enhance player experience
  • Contribute to QA best practices and standardisation across vertical groups, partnering with QA leadership
  • Stay close to the product through hands-on engagement, playtesting, and early design reviews to identify risks

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong advocate for the use of AI to enhance QA workflows and outcomes
  • Proven experience leading QA teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, with strong ownership and prioritisation abilities
  • Able to balance quality, speed, and business needs effectively
  • Experience driving QA processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience managing external vendors or distributed teams
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of product impact
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tools
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms and release processes (Apple / Google)
  • Solid understanding of the game development lifecycle
